Film Workers Union of Korea Slams Park Geun Hye Group for Anti-DPRK Film Production

Since Park Geun Hye came to power, her group has spent a large amount of money collected from the south Korean people as taxes to massively produce and screen different kinds of films groundlessly hurting the system in the DPRK and inciting confrontation with the compatriots.

These days the group unhesitatingly produced and distributed such provocative films as "Skirmish in Waters off Yonphyong" and "Inchon Landing Operation" justifying the reckless armed provocations against the north and aggression by the U.S. and south Korean warmongers and inciting war hysteria and even imprudently hurting the political system in the DPRK and misrepresenting the happy life of its people.

A few days ago, Park Geun Hye together with her minions attended a "film preview." They staged such farces as "fund-raising campaign" and "awarding of commendations" in a bid to raise social concern for the production of anti-DPRK films and made it compulsory for all the cinema houses to screen the above-said films.

A spokesman for the Central Committee of the Film Workers Union of Korea in a statement on Friday said this is nothing but a traitorous and anti-reunification campaign to incite bad blood toward the compatriots in the north among south Korean youth and students and other people and drive the frozen north-south relations into an uncontrollable catastrophe.

The statement noted:

Lurking behind the Park Geun Hye group's desperate campaign to produce anti-DPRK films going against the demand of the times is a sinister scenario to justify their confrontation policy by stoking hostility and distrust in the compatriots in the north among south Koreans.

The Park Geun Hye group should bear in mind with no gamut of deception and gimmick can they chill the south Korean people's growing desire for reunification and longing for the DPRK.

The movie persons in south Korea should not join in the despicable production of confrontation-films launched by the Park's group but properly discern its traitorous nature and fulfill their mission and duty before the times and the nation through righteous creative activities conducive to the reconciliation and unity of the nation, though belatedly.

The anachronistic anti-DPRK film production by the Park group forsaken by the people would only precipitate their miserable end.

CPRC Spokesman Slashes U.S.-S. Korea Projected Ulji Freedom Guardian

 A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country (CPRC) of the DPRK issued a statement on Sunday as regards the large-scale Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drill to be staged by the U.S. and south Korean puppet warmongers from August 22.

It goes without saying that this drill, too, is an outrageous provocation for a nuclear war against the north aimed to encroach upon the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK and infringe on the vital rights of its people, the statement said, and went on:

What should not be overlooked is that the joint military drill is to be staged under the simulated conditions of a sudden attack on the DPRK. It is, therefore, the most undisguised physical measure and provocative action to chill the desire of all Koreans for reunification growing stronger thanks to the DPRK's step to hold a grand national meeting for improving the inter-Korean relations and bringing earlier reunification. This saber-rattling is also aimed at stemming the trend for independence against the U.S. getting ever more dynamic along with the actions against THAAD deployment in south Korea.

The DPRK remains unchanged in its stand on the prevailing situation.

It is the resolute stand of the DPRK to decisively foil all hostile acts and threat of aggression and provocation with the Korean-style nuclear deterrence which has been bolstered by the service personnel and people of the DPRK with the might of single-minded unity and through the drive for breaking through the cutting edge true to the line of simultaneously pushing ahead the two fronts, something hard to find in any part of the world.

The only choice for the U.S. to save its face and preserve its existence is to stop such dangerous muscle flexing against the north such as Ulji Freedom Guardian and roll back its foolish and brigandish anti-DPRK hostile policy aimed to get something through sanctions and pressure.

DPRK FM Spokesman Lashes at Ulji Freedom Guardian

 

A spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry made public the following statement Monday:

The U.S. is again bringing the grave danger of a nuclear war to the Korean peninsula.

On August 22 it started Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drill targeting the DPRK with many forces deployed in south Korean, Japanese and other overseas bases, south Korean puppet forces and huge war means involved.

The large-scale joint military drill for aggression being staged by the U.S. in collusion with the south Korean puppet forces despite repeated warnings of the DPRK is a grave military provocation aimed to launch a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK from A to Z and a challenge to regional peace and stability.

The military drill is an unpardonable criminal act of pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula to the brink of a war as the situation there has become unprecedentedly instable due to the U.S. introduction of nuclear strategic bombers, THAAD and other strategic assets into the peninsula and its vicinity.

The U.S. is creating an evil cycle of tensions while ceaselessly staging offensive joint military exercises for aggression and bolstering up armed forces. Lurking behind this is a scenario to create again the same most extreme situation as that in August last year at any cost and thus introduce more strategic assets into south Korea under this pretext, justify the formation of the U.S.-Japan-south Korea triangular military alliance and maintain military hegemony in this region.

Detente, peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the region would not be unthinkable unless the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises for aggression are totally halted.

We have chosen the way of building nuclear force to protect our state and social system from the U.S. constant nuclear threat and taken hold on the strategic line for bolstering up nuclear force.

It is the consistent stand of the DPRK government to fundamentally terminate the danger of a nuclear war posed by the U.S. by dint of the powerful nuclear deterrence and defend the regional and global peace.

The U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and nuclear threats including ceaseless war exercises for aggression are bound to meet the resolute and merciless counteraction by the army and people of the DPRK.

 

Spokesman for KPA General Staff Clarifies Principled Stand on Nuclear War Drill against DPRK

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces started the largest-ever joint military drill Ulji Freedom Guardian on August 22.

The drill which will last till early in September is aimed to acquire the capability for making a surprise preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK by "combined forces" in contingency on the Korean peninsula and carry out multi-phased scenario for invading the DPRK.

A spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army (KPA) in a statement Monday said that the saber-rattling is a clear manifestation of a vicious plot to deprive the service personnel and people of the DPRK of their cradle by force of arms and inflict a miserable fate of colonial slavery upon them.

The situation on the Korean peninsula is so tense that a nuclear war may break out any moment, the statement noted, and went on:

In view of the prevailing grave situation the KPA General Staff solemnly declares upon authorization the following principled stand of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK to cope with the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces' reckless moves for a nuclear war against it that have gone beyond the danger line:

They should properly know that from this moment the first-strike combined units of the KPA keep themselves fully ready to mount a preemptive retaliatory strike at all enemy attack groups involved in Ulji Freedom Guardian.

The nuclear warmongers should bear in mind that if they show the slightest sign of aggression on the inviolable land, seas and air where the sovereignty of the DPRK is exercised, it would turn the stronghold of provocation into a heap of ashes through Korean-style preemptive nuclear strike.

The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK will hold their bayonets more tightly to annihilate the enemies in the future, too, in order to put a definite end to the nuclear war moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces.

It is the resolute determination and will of the Paektusan revolutionary armed forces to terminate the ever more reckless moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces for a nuclear war not temporarily but indefinitely.

We once again declare that the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK with remarkably increased capability for mounting a preemptive nuclear attack of Korean style are waiting for a historic chance to blow up all strongholds of aggression and war and liberate the southern half of Korea.

The nuclear warmongers should not forget the iron will of the KPA even a moment.

 

CPRC Spokesman Urges S. Korean Authorities Not to Forget Lesson

from Incident in August Last Year

 A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country (CPRC) of the DPRK issued a statement on Tuesday, in which it said that it is the proud history and tradition of the DPRK that it has recorded only legendary stories of victory in the fierce confrontation with the enemies at home and abroad.

The great victory won by the DPRK by which it saved the destiny of the country and nation from a hair-trigger crisis in August last year was recorded as the most significant event in the annals of honor, the statement said, and went on:

Looking back upon those days in August last year, they were the days of extremely dangerous and acute stand-off when the military conflict and the danger of war reached the zenith on the Korean peninsula after the cease-fire.

At a time when the world was watching with great concern the war machine that began to operate on the Korean peninsula, it was none other than supreme leader Kim Jong Un who made a bold decision which no other person can take and brought about a dramatic turn for the country, nation and compatriots.

The peerlessly great man Kim Jong Un, cherishing the noble mission for protecting the country and the nation, took all possible measures to smash the military provocations by the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers at a go. He initiatively provided high-ranking urgent contact unprecedented in the history of north-south dialogue with the arms being leveled at the enemies and opened up a breakthrough to winning a great victory without blood-shed.

The south Korean puppet authorities could not but come out to the high-ranking dialogue, in fear of the destructive ruin they would face in the second Korean war. The adoption of a dramatic agreement between the north and the south helped remove a big danger of war and opened an important phase for turning the situation in favor of the DPRK and improving inter-Korean relations.

A radical turn would have been brought about in the situation of the Korean peninsula if the agreement adopted by the north and the south one year ago had been valued and implemented.

However, the Park Geun Hye group has persistently taken issue with the DPRK, frequently talking about "nuclear threat from the north" and "provocation", thereby laying the blame for worsening inter-Korean relations and catastrophe of the situation on the Korean peninsula at the door of the DPRK.

Even at this moment, the Park Geun Hye group is running the whole gamut of vicious and despicable moves to attain the sinister aim of achieving "unification of social systems" while talking about the "collapse of the north".

The stupid and ignorant Park group opted to take the road of war, confrontation and permanent division, not the way of peace, improved relations and reunification while persistently refusing to respond to the offer of good faith made by the compatriots in the north. Therefore, it is fated to meet only miserable destruction and death.

If the puppet group perpetrates a ridiculous provocation again, oblivious of the lesson taught by the August incident last year, the DPRK will never miss the golden opportunity but launch a great war for national reunification of justice and thus annihilate the group of traitors to the last man and blow up the bases of the U.S. imperialists, the chieftain of aggression, on the earth.

The most just and independent DPRK has the proud tradition of winning victories but the pro-U.S. group of traitors is fated to sustain a shameful defeat as it is selling off the nation to outside forces and hurting the destiny of the compatriots.

 

S. Korean Puppet Group of Traitors Have to Be Thrown Overboard: Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee

Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- U.S. President Obama who committed to building "a world without nuclear weapons" is blustering that he would declare "no-first use of nuclear weapons" now that his tenure is almost running out.

    A spokesman for the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee in a statement Thursday terms this a mockery of humankind aspiring after world peace and stability and the height of shamelessness as it is a sleight of hand to beautify the signboard of the "world without nuclear weapons" and improve his popularity that went into a tailspin.

    What is disgusting is that the poor south Korean puppet forces are begging their American master not to give up the principle of preemptive nuclear attack, being fidgety over the U.S. deceptive farce.

    The puppet forces' servile act clearly represents the true nature of the stupid and pitiful colonial stooge who is unable to sustain even a moment being away from the care of master.

    This is little short of self-admittance before the world that the puppet forces have looked for an opportunity to provoke a nuclear war against the north together with the U.S. after making it a fait accompli to mount a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK.
    By origin, preemptive nuclear attack is an undisguised and brigandish doctrine of aggression which the U.S. has invariably maintained since the very first day it possessed a nuclear weapon.

    The DPRK had access to nuclear weapons and has steadily bolstered them up, legitimate self-defensive measure to protect the sovereignty of the country and the right to existence of the nation from the U.S. ceaseless nuclear war threat and blackmail.
    The more frantically the U.S. and the puppet forces resort to the moves to provoke a nuclear war against the DPRK, the more strongly it will bolster its nuclear deterrence for self-defence.

    No matter how loudly the puppet group may trumpet about "nuclear threat from the north" and "provocation", they can never cover up the U.S. attempt at a preemptive nuclear attack on the north and their despicable criminal scheme to provoke a dangerous nuclear war.

    The puppet forces who are trying to inflict nuclear disaster on the Korean peninsula by begging the gangster U.S., which is seeking world domination by dint of nuclear weapons, to inflict a preemptive nuclear strike at the fellow countrymen are a group of matchless traitors who are utterly in disregard of the destiny of the nation.
