Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK released the following statement on Friday:

    The situation on the Korean Peninsula and in the region has reached an extremely dangerous phase due to the mad-cap nuclear war provocations of the U.S. to violate the sovereignty and vital rights of the DPRK at any cost.

    Recently, the authorities of the Trump Administration are spouting a load of rubbish calling for browbeating the DPRK by force of arms every day. They are crying out for settling the issue with the help of someone, seeking to bring nuclear aircraft carrier strike groups one after another to the waters off the Korean Peninsula.

    Such intimidation and blackmail can never frighten the DPRK.

    The invincible revolutionary Paektusan army, closely following the maneuvers of the U.S., is waiting for an order only after rounding off its full preparedness to counter them immediately.

It is an unshakable will of the DPRK to go to the end if the U.S. wants to remain unchanged in its confrontational stance.

    The army of the DPRK has already clarified that its heaviest counteractions include a sudden preemptive attack involving maneuvers on the ground, in seas, under waters and in the air and various other methods and the Korean-style tough counter-actions will be promptly taken to cope with the provocations of any forms and levels from the U.S.

    The world will clearly witness this time the fact that gone are the days never to return when the U.S. forced its will upon other countries.

    The DPRK, a peace-loving socialist state, is setting great store by peace. But it neither fears a war nor wants to avoid it.

    The DPRK is a nuclear power capable of countering any option and means of the U.S. and will not avoid any option made by it.

    As the DPRK had access to a powerful nuclear deterrent to protect itself from the U.S. nuclear threat, the DPRK will react to a total war with an all-out war, a nuclear war with nuclear strikes of its own style and surely win a victory in the death-defying struggle against the U.S. imperialists. – 23April 2017

Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation (CCNR) in a statement Saturday said all Koreans in the north and the south and abroad are hardly repressing their surging indignation at the U.S. and the south Korean conservative group pushing the situation of the Korean peninsula to the point of explosion.
    What is all the more infuriating is the puppet conservative group's act of fanning up the U.S. war fever, the statement said, and went on:

    The present situation, in which the U.S. frenzy for nuclear war against the DPRK has reached the extremes with an aim at annihilating the Korean nation, clearly proves what a wise option the DPRK made when it decided to bolster up the nuclear force in quantity and quality with a firm hold on the nuclear sword of justice.

    The DPRK has nothing to be afraid of and is ready to fight any mode of war wanted by the U.S. as it has now towered as a nuclear power in the East and a rocket launching power in Asia.

    If the U.S. provokes even a bit the sovereignty and the right to existence of the DPRK, the powerful nuclear strike means of the DPRK associated with blood and sweat shed by its people will blow up in a moment the stronghold of aggression and provocation in any space whether it is ground, air and sea and underwater, and the shouts for annihilating enemies which shook the square of military parade will resound as hurrahs for national reunification.

The puppet warmongers getting frantic in sycophantic treachery and racket for confrontation with the DPRK while working as henchmen of the U.S. cannot get away from the target of nuclear strike but will meet a miserable end.

    All the fellow countrymen in the north and the south and abroad should courageously turn out in the struggle to foil the U.S. and the puppet conservative group's nuclear war moves in the indomitable spirit of the nation which has a firm grip on the nuclear sword, and bring about a reunified power in which 80 million Koreans live in one and the same territory. 24 April 2017

Kim Jong Un Inspects April 22 Thaechon Pig Farm of KPA Air and Anti-Air Force

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the April 22 Thaechon Pig Farm of the Air and Anti-Air Force of the Korean People's Army.

Going round various places of the farm, he learned in detail about its construction, management and operation.

Noting a combined production system was well established to conduct management activities on the basis of comprehensive analysis and appraisal of management information, backed by real-time monitoring and automatic control of all production processes, he said that the production processes have been put on a high scientific, IT and automated basis.

Patriotism was displayed while building the farm to secure a big proportion of locally available equipment, which helps take great pride in ours and have confidence that we can be well off by doing our own way, he said, praising the KPA for taking the lead in implementing the Party policy on realizing domestic production.

He set forth tasks facing the farm.

Praising the farm as an icon stockbreeding base of the country, he expressed great satisfaction over the construction of another supply base conducive to improving the diet of the KPA pilots.

He highly praised the commanding officers and soldiers of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force for successfully building an icon farm of the new century as intended by the Party.

After expressing expectation and belief that the officials and employees of the farm would produce and supply more pork and processed pork to the pilots, he had a photo taken with them.

Accompanying him were KPA Vice Marshal Hwang Pyong So, director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, Army General So Hong Chan, first vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, Colonel General of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force Kim Kwang Hyok, commander of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force, and Colonel General of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force Son Chol Ju, commissar of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force.
