The Anguk Temple in Phyongsong City, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, is one of the famous historical sites in the country. Built in 503 in the period of Koguryo (277 BC-AD 668) and rebuilt several times, the relic is of value in studying the contemporary architecture.
